Flame announcer
was designed to be the part of automatic fire-warning facilities and the tools used for fire fighting at production sites, including those involved into production, transportation and recycling of oil and gas. Fire announcer responds to electromagnetic radiation of flame in infra-red range, features improved resistance to the effects of radiation emitted by electric arcs, lightnings and the sun. It is capable to automatically control effectiveness and purity of the optics involved


Smart gages

belong to the new sensor generation, assigned for continuous remote control of vibro-acceleration, vibro-displacement, vibro-speed, travel and output speed of units and nodes constituent of gas-transfer and another mechanic machinery. Smart gages are tested according to IEEE-P1251 standard as the ones, featuring additional functions, used to draw the most clear conception of the parameters being measured. These functions include not only measurement, normalization and correction of a signal, but auto-testing, programmable measurement of ranges and measuring modes, filters, all of those done with a digital interface incorporated

Portable computerized vibro-diagnostic system (IVA)

is assigned for measuring vibration and for automated trouble shooting in variable power-generating and mechanic equipment, machines, mechanisms and pipelines. The system is capable of revealing the cause of vibration and some dangerous equipment defects. Twelve-channel synchronous recording of vibro-signals is provided alongside with immediate registration of rotor revolutions over three channels, followed by accumulation and storage of the relevant data in a computer database.

The automated system to monitor mechanic parameters (ASKMV)

is a measuring modular architecture, assigned to continuously monitor the technical state of rotary equipment (gas and steam turbines, main circulating pumps, etc.) during steady-state and transient operation modes. The system continuously measures vibration parameters, axial shear of units, frequency of shaft rotation, rotor relative and thermal expansion; images the data on the current state of equipment, transfers the relevant data to industrial control system and, in case of trouble, alerts about excess parameters or excess specified thresholds. The system is implemented at atomic power stations to control primary and auxiliary equipment.

Standardized technical protection system (SUTZ)

is a modular, optionally shaped sub-system, applied at industrial control mode of NPP power unit. The system is assigned to protect technological equipment in case of emergency, or pre-emergency. The system predicts emergency or pre-emergency by deviations in analog parameters and operational events (expiration of the specified time delay, manifestation of technological troubles). The system forms the instruction for execution of the relevant control algorithm, delivers the output protection signal, based on "two from three" majority rule, generates the information, reporting on the current state of the constituent elements of the system, produces the diagnostic results and archieves the data collected. The data from other sub-systems of the industrial control node of NPP power unit is collected and used to provide automated logic control.

Automated eddy current probe for hairpin sockets (UVTKShG)

is assigned for field inspection of integrity of thread sockets at VVER-1000 reactor body. The results of inspection can be expressly analyzed, yielding automatic identification of defects.
The probe comprises manipulator with eddy current sensor, control unit base on PC and the coupling feature.
The method, regulating adjustment process, prescribing control procedures and interpretation of the results, as well as enlisting the requirements to the operating staff, metrological tooling and reporting routine was developed on the order of "Rosenergoatom" Concern, under administration of Gosatomnadzor. The method was approved by "Rosenergoatom" and accepted for field implementation.
The first trials of UVTKShG were arranged in 2006 at Balakovo NPP.

Automated ultrasonic control (US UZKSh)
is assigned for operational control of the pins, constituent of master connector of a reactor, master circulation pump and vapor generator of NPP, based on VVER-1000 reactor. The technology differs from its analogs due to automated control method incorporated, implying pin ring-out under 45 degrees through the surface of the interior axial orifice, and application of a new multi-segment two-cone ultrasonic transducer of the immersive type, featuring programmable structure and operation mode.

Specifications:
  • Dimensions of pin discontinuities identified:
    • transverse cracks - no less than 1,0x0,2 mm;
    • longitudinal delamination - no less than 4,0 of the equivalent area;
  • Time of pin control procedure - no exceeding 10 minutes;
  • Computerized express-estimation of the control results by visual and threshold analysis methods.

Acceptance tests were accomplished, after which the trial sample was implemented at Balakovo NPP.


Automated protection system against excess pressure
at the gas-distributing station (GDS) output is designed for automated disconnection of the defective reduction lines or GDS output in case of uncontrolled pressure increase at the GDS output; for transmitting the information, warning and emergency signals on the state of reduction lines and reduction assembly, the reduction assembly input and output pressure to the operator as well as to the remote control system. To operate as part of data processing systems, the automated protection unit opens on RS-485 interface or modem and provides the exchange rate as high as 115200 B/s.


Displacement specification devices (ITsFR)

are designed for the adjustment and verification (calibration) of displacement and axial shear pickups. They simulate surfaces of the controlled unit component and specify pickup measurement range gaps using the micrometers included in the State register of gages such as mechanical and electronic

Calibrator of vibration sensors KDV-1 (IKLZh.442269.001)

is designed to reproduce a mean square value of a vibration velocity and a vibratory displacement range during verification (calibration) of vibration velocity and vibratory displacement sensors (including eddy current probes). It consists of a shaker unit, a control assembly and component parts.

Intrusion alarm system (SOS)

is a modular design arranged functional subsystem of the physical protection system (SFZ) guarding optional facilities. It is designed to detect unauthorized access to the guarded facility, to inform the SFZ personnel about it and to automatically give the control commands to execution units, SFZ physical barriers. It consists of a control panel, a terminal, an acceptance-control guarding block and technical detection meanst.

Engineering process control

 

To optimize operation of RFNC-VNIIEF manufacturing equipment, the engineering process control systems and complexes have been developed and are widely used at the FEC facilities.


Compressor shop information control system (CSICS)
is designed for automated control of the manufacturing equipment of a compressor shop or a compressor station at a gas-pumping enterprise. The system may be adapted for specific engineering processes in various fields of national economy.


Complex of hardware and software for telemechanics and automatics
is designed to arrange distributed telemechanical systems for automated control, automated (via dispatcher) supervisory control and teleadjusting of engineering processes and equipment at industrial projects including gas-main and oil-trunk pipelines.


Complex of hardware and software for automation of gas-distributing stations
is an integrated system of technological information acquisition and control. It is designed to check and monitor the state of technological objects and automatics systems at gas-distributing stations within the systems of linear production control over gas-main pipelines.

 


Data processing system IVS-K, constituent of a feeding unit of nuclear power plants

is a three-level distributed system of NPP feeding unit engineering process monitoring at the level of local controllers providing a physical system interface with sensors, actuators, information acquisition systems; at the level of servers providing data acquisition, processing and archiving; at the level of workstations providing the system control and representation of parameters describing the current condition of the objects under control.

Computer-aided gas odorization system
provides dosed odorant injection to the natural gas flow at gas-distributing stations, monitors the odorant inflow in the mains, as well as the level of odorant in the effective capacity, generates the system condition emergency and warning signals to be transmitted through the telemechanics channel.

Automated control system for recurrent purging of steam generators (SAUPP PG)

is designed for periodic steam generator (SG) purging in accordance with the specified procedure of process monitoring. It provides optimum SG purging regulations at various power levels and the maximum dissolved impurity and sludge removal efficiency, which decreases the heat-transfer surface pollution. The system is made in the form of a self-contained unit having the possibility for being integrated into the information and computation system of a power unit.
